toposens_msgs

This package contains a set of custom message types for working with the Toposens core packages.

It was developed and tested for ROS Melodic on Ubuntu 18.04 (Bionic) and ROS Kinetic on Ubuntu 16.04 (Xenial) using Toposens TS3 ultrasonic sensor.

Overview

  • Frame.msg: A CAN frame that is also defined in ros_canopen/can_msgs/msg/ (TODO: check if actually used)
  • TsPoint.msg: A message type that specifies an echo received from a 3D location with a certain intensity (V-value).
  • TsScan.msg: A message type that contains an array of TsPoint messages. It contains the points that were found in one single sensor frame/scan.
