toposens_description

This package contains configuration and CAD files for Toposens sensors and sensor systems. It enables the visualization of the sensor systems and provides TF information.

It was developed and tested for ROS Noetic on Ubuntu 20.04 (Focal), ROS Melodic on Ubuntu 18.04 (Bionic), and ROS Kinetic on Ubuntu 16.04 (Xenial) using Toposens TS3 ultrasonic sensor.

Overview

The package includes the following folders:

  • launch: contains launch files for visualizing a Toposens sensor, or a TurtleBot 3 that is equiped with one, in RViz.
  • meshes: contains STL and DAE files of Toposens sensors and related things.
  • rviz: contains RViz configuration files.
  • urdf: contains URDF configuration files for specifying robot models including Toposens sensors.
